When you use Dictu, we may collect: your name and email address when creating an account; speech texts you upload or submit; usage data and analytics to improve the service.
We use your information to operate and improve the platform, facilitate speech translation and delivery, respond to support requests, and send important updates about your account or events.
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share data only with service providers (DeepL for translation, Pusher for real-time sync) who process it on our behalf under confidentiality obligations, and when required by law.
We use DeepL for translation, Pusher for real-time messaging, and Google Analytics for usage statistics. Each has their own privacy policy governing their data handling.
We implement reasonable security measures to protect your information. No method of transmission is 100% secure — we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We retain personal information as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes in this policy, or as required by law. You may request deletion at any time.
